A prayer for the repentance of my Uncle was written on the 14/07/2011I'm
grieved when so-called Christians who profess to believe in Jesus are
committing adultery. We are not simply talking about unbelievers here.
Yet other Christians are quick to run to their immediate defense. This
amounts to going soft on sexual immorality and is a form of tacit
toleration of gross sin in the church, which is enabled by the moral
cowardice of those “believers” on hand as this surfaces. Because
such things are happening in church in this generation and, as I say,
are in some instances being tolerated in the churches, that I am
convicted to write this as a matter of importance and urgency.Adultery is something specifically and strictly forbidden by Scripture.In
his situation the wickedness was compounded by the fact that his wife
faced the real possibility of imminent death because of a serious breast
cancer condition.A
year ago my Uncle's wife was having a life threatening operation for
the removal of a cancer infected area of breast. During that time, My
uncle has was sleeping around with prostitutes; all the while his wife
was undergoing hospital treatment. These secret affairs were uncovered
and brought about their separation; however this perversion goes on to
date because he is totally unrepentant of his sin.He
has become a bond slave to his own lustful perversions and therefore
has no right to call himself a Christian and do further injury to the
worthy name of the Lord Jesus. My Uncle has earned the right to bear is
“Enemy of God”.I
am ashamed to even be considered a nephew to him, and after what God
did for him by getting him off drugs in his past and blessing him. In
turn he has thrown Gods grace back at Him and brought the name of
Christ into reproach.This man is a liar, a child abuser in terms of mental anguish (Please not this does not imply Child Molestation), a coward and should find no place of refuge, sympathy and friendship from the Body of Christ while he revels in his depravity.May
he be put out of the Church because he is a cancer to the Body of
Christ we don't need him to infect the minds of other believers.I
do hope and pray he repents of this before it is too late for there is a
place for the purveyors of wickedness according to Rev 21:8. These
despicable acts come out the bowels of hell itself and as such this man
bears the evil hallmark of Satan. Until
he repents from such I am cutting my ties with him. He must be kept out
of any Christian fellowship or communion before this wickedness spreads
throughout the local Churches.I
ask that you keep his wife and children in your prayers as they are
still only young and his wife that she will find forgiveness and is able
to forgive her husband then seek the Lord in this hour of her need.To
all Pastors out their, this should serve as an abrupt warning on the
importance of preaching on holiness and purity. These subjects are
usually avoided for fear of upset and hurt to the congregations
feelings.Its
time to stop counseling and start ministering. One thing I will say is
God is merciful and can forgive my uncle and I hope he seeks the Lord
before it is too late for him.As
for me and him their is to be no more future communication between us
until he sheds him self of pornographic images he has on his facebook
and in his own life he calls art, he has been warned and his involvement
in Astrology by promoting the star signs and he has not shown any
